Owning a Manorial Title

Owning a Manorial Title

Some useful guidance on using your title.

Acquiring a title is nothing like anything else you will ever experience, trust me.  I have listed below some pointers to help you with the transition:

DOs

  1. Have no doubt in your mind you have acquired the right to use your title
  2. Your title does date back many hundreds of years
  3. Previous owners of your title would have been very influential and wealthy
  4. Your title is a responsibility
  5. Your title does make you stand out
  6. Will you react differently in certain situations
  7. Always allow others the option of not using your title (I find people really warm to you very quickly with this tiny concession)
  8. Reflect, your actions now have a great influence, so make sure you are happy with the decisions you have made
  9. Act if necessary
  10. Speak out if necessary

DON'Ts

  1. Rub people's noses in it!
  2. Think you are better than anyone else just because you have a title, it is what you do that counts.  If you are influenced to do better things then you are a better person.

Title Guarantee

We provide a guarantee in four specific areas:

  1. We will do sufficient research to identify that a title, in all likelihood, does not have a legal owner, has not been registered or has been used since the date we believe it was last used, up to today's date
  2. We will ensure that all necessary legal work and notices are undertaken so that you can enjoy your titles without interferance
  3. If your ownership is challenged, we will deal with the claimant on your behalf
  4. If a claim does have legal merit, we will advise you, and offer to replace your title with another
  5. Our titles are protected by a legal ownership devised by us in conjunction with a London Barrister and a Litigation Solicitor with 30 years manorial law experience.
